Intro to Video Editing

Service Description

This hands-on editing class welcomes students of all experience levels who want to build or refine their video editing skills. Beginners will learn how to source and download media to create their own short informational videos. Students will choose a topic of interest, write a 150-word script, gather footage, images, and text, record a voiceover, and select background music from our APM library. Using DaVinci Resolve, they’ll learn how to bring all these elements together into a polished final video. By the end of three sessions, each student will complete their own informational video to share. Students who already have ongoing projects are also welcome to bring their own materials to edit. Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro users are equally encouraged to participate.
